Sandustry Wet Seed Guide

Make Wet Seed with 1 Seed + 1 Water → 1 Wet Seed. The Water is absorbed by the reaction. Move the new material with a Launcher or a suitable collection tool, then let it touch a Planter Box to grow a Flower.

How to Make Wet Seed

Bring one Seed pixel into contact with one Water pixel. The result is one Wet Seed. You do not receive an extra Water pixel or a duplicate Wet Seed after the reaction.

This is the current Early Access chain. Older Demo guides may use Spore and Wet Spore, which are not the current item names.

Why Wet Seed Suspends in Water

Wet Seed is documented as a Slushy material with density 100. Water also has density 100. Their equal density helps explain why Wet Seed can remain suspended in a body of Water instead of separating quickly.

Equal density does not guarantee that every Wet Seed will float to the surface. Shape, local motion, obstacles, and the simulation can leave it at different positions in the pool.

Moving and Separating Wet Seed

Wet Seed can be fired through a Launcher. A Clearing Frame is also documented for moving or clearing suspended material that normal logistics have trouble collecting.

Be careful with Filters. If Seed begins passing through a Filter and touches Water inside it, it changes into Wet Seed. The new material may no longer match the Filter configuration and can jam. Put the wetting chamber after the sorting stage, or give the new material a clear exit.

Turning Wet Seed into a Flower

Wet Seed becomes a Flower when it touches a Planter Box. Keep the planting surface reachable and leave enough space around the box for the Flower and its harvest area.

The Gold number shown for Planter Box in the Research interface is a research unlock cost, not the construction cost of each box. Confirm build materials separately in the current game panel.
