Sandustry Flux Emanator Guide
Feed Voidbloom into the top of a Flux Emanator, leave space below for Fluxite growth, and understand the current 1:1 conversion.
The Flux Emanator lets you manufacture Fluxite from Voidbloom. Feed Voidbloom into the top; after processing, Fluxite appears below and grows outward when space is available.
What the Flux Emanator Does
The current documented ratio is:
1 Voidbloom → 1 Fluxite
Fluxite also occurs naturally in the world. It is used to upgrade tools, weapons, and Drones, making the Flux Emanator a repeatable late-game source rather than the only possible source.
Correct Input Side
Voidbloom must touch the top of the machine. Side or bottom delivery will not follow the documented input behavior. Reserve vertical feed space before surrounding the building with other production lines.
Conversion is not instant. If the machine appears inactive, verify that actual Voidbloom reaches its upper surface and that you have not supplied an old Demo-era ingredient.
Where Fluxite Appears
Fluxite forms from the bottom of the Emanator and expands around the lower center in an approximately circular pattern. Solid walls redirect the growth along their contour, although the material still tries to maintain that general shape.
Leave a clear collection chamber beneath and around the output. A cramped floor or nearby production wall may change the growth footprint and make harvesting awkward.
Common Problems
- Nothing processes: confirm top-side Voidbloom contact.
- No visible output: clear solid space below the machine.
- Unexpected recipe: current Voidbloom uses Void Petal and Redsand, not the old Amethelis recipe.
- Movement blocked: the building blocks liquids, gases, and the player.
The work-in-progress Research page lists the Flux Emanator at Tier 5 for 2,000 Gold. That number is the research unlock cost, not its construction cost.
Despite the similar word “Flux,” the Flux Emanator has no functional relationship to FluxLoader, the old Demo mod loader.
